How thin?

How thin is the line between;

The beginning and the end?

Paranoia and intuition?

A memory and your imagination?

Illusion and reality?

Sanity and insanity?

Strength and weakness?

Mental illness and mental wellness?

Over sharing and sharing?

Thinking and overthinking?

Everything and nothing?

Being visible and being present?

Being content and becoming complacent?

Being oblivious and being aware?

Being cautious and living in fear?

Feeling better and being better?

Civilisation and barbarity?

Morality and immortality?

Freedom and slavery?

Being alone and feeling alone?

Hearing and feeling?

Living and Being?

Relationships and bondage?

A secret and a burden?

Victimiser and victim?

Escapism and realism?

Self care and self-destruction?

Being knowledgeable and knowing nothing at all?

Order and chaos?

Real and fake?

Too much and too little?

The beginning and the end?

Is there a line?

Was there ever a line?

Who draws the line?

Where do you draw the line?

Such a simple poem but really leads you to think about the lines drawn between two “polar opposites” and whether a line can really be drawn or is it really just a continuous tug-of-war…
